How our Fosters
came to live in
Arizona
Our 6,000+ mile 2012
Genealogy Research Vacation
from Arizona to the Mormon Colonies in Mexico where our families lived
during polygamy, Carlsbad Caverns in New Mexico just to say we have done
it, to Turkey, Briscoe, Texas where the Foster's and Savage families
lived, to pick black berries in Benton, Arkansas to Atlanta, Georgia to
learn to drive Luxury Motor homes and deliver them to clients to earn gas
money so we can eventually get back home, to Greene County, Tennessee to
see our Andrew Jackson Foster's, then up through Summersville, Green
County, Kentucky where William H Foster was born to visit Janet's family
around Detroit, Michigan, then up to northern Michigan for about a month
to research all the areas where Janet's family lived since their migration
from Finland and from Ontario, Canada. Then we will head home
stopping in St. Louis, Missouri to check out our military relatives who
served in WW1 and WW2, continuing through Missouri to Pineville where lots
of our Foster's lived and still live today and through Oklahoma waving at
the unknown burial location of sweet Lillie Moore Foster and into
Clovis, New Mexico where my father was born and eventually back into
Arizona to Tempe, AZ where we will pack up our belongings and move to a
smaller home "if" our home for sale sells while we are gone.
